Decent golf course. Friendly people, wide open fairways, and an interesting design. Would have given five stars but the price was high (70 for a round) and there were only two ball wash stations for the whole 18 holes.

I would give it 5 stars if the water fall in the picture still worked. Lol .. Love the place, it is in great shape. A must see if you have never played the par 6 hoke...

Stayed nearby and was able to play here one morning. Very nice property, it was easy to get a tee time. Staff was very helpful and attentive, the Ranger offered great advice and was extremely pleasant to chat with. Course was challenging, I loved the Waterfall course, which had a mini-golf component to it, very fun. I loved the baseball field hole. Also had some history smack dab in the middle, having an old cemetery and a documented building from the Civil War with a plaque describing its usage. Loved the challenge of a par 6 800 yard hole (got there in 4 and 3 putted). One criticism I’d make is the cicada killer wasps had burrowed into a few greens, making it a little daunting to get through those. Other than the couple of greens, I think the course was in pretty solid shape- well-cut fairways, tee boxes looked in good shape for the most part, and the greens were fast. Really enjoyed playing here, if my travels bring me back, I’d definitely return.

I played here on Labor Day and while it was a beautiful and enjoyable day, the course was in terrible shape, especially the greens and areas around the greens. Also, the rough was extremely thick and we kept losing balls that were only a few yards from the fairways. Fairways were in acceptable shape, but bunkers were not and we played a free drop because of the condition.

Well taken care of and the staff are friendly. We can always get a tee time here even on weekends so big fan of this one!
